We want you to truly understand the power of Referral Marketing, hence we brainstormed on the following; “How can we allow the business community in NZ/Australia to simply experience the incredible power, reach, and pace and potential of Referral Marketing for themselves via Word of Mouth?” The answer is simple – by practicing what we preach – by applying The Village Square Referral Marketing System™ in a first of its kind experiment – The Great Word of Mouth Marketing Experiment.
We approached Womanz and The Marketing Association of New Zealand to team up and make this idea sing.
We believe it will illustrate the five steps of The Village Square System™
The Village Square System™ shows you how close you are to developing a referral marketing network. We have defined four basic cornerstones which represent stages within the transition from non customer to referral. Each company is unique and will find itself somewhere along the process in terms of a continuum towards referral marketing.
We have decided to Keep It Simple for the sake of clarity on this website – naturally there is more to the model!! Nonetheless the principles carry through:
1. Exposure – Who are my top referrers?
2. Experience – How do my top referrers experience my branded product or branded service?
3. Involvement – How easily can your top referrers get involved with your organisation?
4. Connection – How does your organisation treat your top referrers – like valued team members?
5. Ongoing Referral – How do you continually create new love in your top referrers?
